Five little squirrels climbing up a tree
One said “This tree, belongs to me!”
He pushed, he shoved the others all around
One little squirrel tumbled to the ground.
Four little squirrels climbing up the tree
The squirrel said “This tree belongs to me!”
He pushed, he shoved the others all around
Another little squirrel tumbled to the ground
Three little squirrels climbing up the tree
The squirrel said “This tree belongs to me!”
He pushed, he shoved the others all around
Another little squirrel tumbled to the ground
Two little squirrels climbing up the tree
The squirrel said “This tree belongs to me!”
He pushed, he shoved the squirrel all around
The last little squirrel tumbled to the ground
One little squirrel climbing up the tree
The squirrel said, “This tree belongs to me!”
He pushed, he shoved but no one was around
All the other squirrels were playing on the ground.
All the squirrels said, “You must learn to share!
You push, you shove, it’s not fair!
If you won’t share, then we won’t play.”
And they climbed up the tree to a branch far away
The little squirrel watched them leap and climb
“Hmm….not so fun to play alone ALL the time”
So he called to his friends on the branch far away
“We can all share, come back and play!”
{Let’s call with the squirrel: We can all share, come back and play!}
Now five little squirrels climbing up the tree
Play together, happily
Leaping, laughing in the gentle breeze
Climbing up high in the branches of the trees
